From the moment you realize your need for any document to be translated, all you need to do is pick up the phone and/or fax us a sample of the document for our review. We provide accurate legal, medical, and a variety other technical and commercial translations for a variety industries.

Why is it important to have Errors and Omissions insurance?

It is extremely important for your language service company to have "Errors and Omissions" insurance to protect yourself against possible lawsuits. Knowing your documents are translated with the correct meaning and vocabulary is crucial in executing your business processes and / or marketing your products. You wouldn't want your audience to have an accident or otherwise misinterpret your intentions. Exact carries up-to-date insurance to provide our customers with peace of mind that their documents contain accurate information and conveys it exactly the way you need it to be conveyed.

Proofreading / Formatting

Exact provides Proofreading and Formatting services for all your document review and set up needs. In cases when you may already have a document translated and just want that peace of mind or extra set of eyes to confirm accuracy of translation, we provide proofreading service for you.

In design circumstances when you need your document to look exactly the way your Source document does (logos, tables, charts, etc.), Exact can provide formatting services for you. Please contact us for further information on rates for these supplemental services.

Tape Transcription

When you have a recorded meeting or session (depositions, etc.) and need to have the tape(s) translated, give us a call. We can translate the tape for you and have a hard copy reflecting the statements of all parties involved in the discussion. Exact also provides Notary service, if required. Knowing Your Audience

It is important at the time you request your translation to provide Exact with as much information about the intended audience for your document, as possible. For example, the Spanish language has many derivatives (Spain, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Guatemala, Argentina, etc.) and depending on what country the majority of your readers are from, makes a difference in how they may understand the document.

Be prepared, if you have a mixed audience of readers from different Spanish-speaking countries, to receive questions and/or concerns about specific word(s) and their meaning. If you have any questions after you receive your translated document from us and an employee approaches you with questions, we will be happy to assist you in explaining the difference of meaning to alleviate any concerns.

Knowing Your Participants

Rates

Translation Rates

Please contact office for specific rate information.

The rate per word is determined by the complexity of the subject matter (e.g. financial, legal, pharmaceutical vocabulary) and the language uniqueness. See the list of languages available below.

All-inclusive rate, with exception of overnight express charges, printing/copying, supplies, etc. All expenses billed to client at cost.

Projects containing pages < 300 wpp will be charged at the 'per word' rate, due to being a part of an entire project document (e.g. a training guide).

Consideration in pricing will be given to brief or unusual items (e.g. business cards, individual labels, or small signs).

Exact will be happy to provide you with a fixed price quote for volume projects, upon review of the material for translation. Simply email us the file for review or fax / mail the document(s) for review. We will provide a Project Quote in writing for your review and signature within 24 hours and in most cases, prior to 24 hours. Note: Projects will Start Work after we receive the approved Project Quote form.

Interpretation Rates

We offer a two-hour minimum rate for all languages. Please Contact us.

Expenses, as appropriate, will be billed as follows:

Travel Time	$15.00 per Hour (locations outside 45-mile radius)
Transportation:	At Cost
Mileage:	Current State Rate
Lodging / Meals	At Cost
Tolls / Parking:	At Cost

On Call Rates:

All Day	Two-hour minimum charge
Half Day	One-hour minimum charge

Cancellation Fees:

No fee will be charged, if an assignment is cancelled by 5 PM the day before an assignment. A one-hour minimum charge will be billed, if a PM assignment is cancelled in the AM. A two-hour minimum charge will be billed, if an AM assignment is cancelled in the PM.
